“Kinda Natural” Beachy Waves

Hey guys!

Story time!!

So…. for as long as I could remember, I have absolutely hated my natural hair. I started learning how to straighten my hair when I caught my sister ironing her hair…yeah, you read right…. my sister was ironing her hair (DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME, I should probably mention this was way before hair straighteners became a thang). Which till this day, I cannot make sense of because she has jet straight hair. Anyways, one day I had asked her to straighten my frizzy, thick hair…she obviously said no at first, but through hours of badgering and annoyance she eventually gave in and IRONED my hair guys!!!! I had sleek, long, shinny, straight hair for the very first time in my life and that was the day my addiction for straightening my hair started. I’m tell you this because for a very long time, I NEVER wore my hair in its natural state. But when you grow older you start realizing how much damage and heat you are applying to your hair that you eventually start to understand your hair and figure out what works and what doesn’t. Through many years of learning my hair and its texture I have learnt to appreciate what my mama gave me and became grateful that I even have hair on my head after all these years of damage.

I wanted to show you guys a way to create “kinda natural” beachy waves by applying heat but not to the whole head. How to take the natural texture of your hair and just revamping it just a tad;)

I hope my wavy hair ladies out there enjoy this video, & if you don’t have wavy hair you can apply this technique to your entire head to achieve this beachy hair look!
