Low Back Bodysuit

BODYSUITS have become a huge trend this year and I am absolutely lovin’ it! Especially this deep plum bodysuit I got from American apparel.

I love how it hugs the body and really defines every curve. Some may consider this a little “risque”, and don’t get me wrong, I definitely did when I first put it on but then I got comfortable and started really loving the feel of it (mostly because I didn’t wear a pesky bra with it, and if your know me, you know how much I DESPISE those annoying things). If I could ban bras forever, I totally would (Who’s with me?). If you are a bigger breasted female, you obviously wont feel comfortable wearing a body suit like this without a bra so you can definitely wear one with a bralette underneath to hide the straps or look for a bodysuit that doesn’t go so deep. The great thing about bodysuits is that they come in a variety of styles, from long sleeves and halters to high necks and crops, so there are definitely a ton to choose from to better suit your style and comfort!

You can pair it was skirts, jeans, shorts & even dress pants for a sleek look! I love wearing bodysuits with jeans, but for this look I paired it with high waisted jean shorts and some sandals from H&M for an easy and comfortable day look. Added in a choker from Aldo accessories to give this look an “edgier vibe”.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look and hopefully it gave you some inspiration to play around with bodysuits this year! I would love to hear or even better! See how YOU wear your bodysuits!

“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”― Mandy Hale

  1. Your blog is amazing, Shagee!?! I will be staying tuned for future posts!?! I am also tempted to invest in my own low-back bodysuit….I have nowhere to wear such an ensemble….but could put it on to prepare the curry coconut chickpea recipe you posted!

    1. Eva, you are an absolute gem for taking the time to look at my blog. I think you’d look smokin’ wearing that low back bodysuit and making that chickpea dish would just be a bonus 😉

      Thank you so much 💛
